This is some of the experiences i'm having with the game, i would gladly accept some tips and suggestions tho. Some classes are easier but some deal something like less than 100 damage per hit on a Enemy that has 7k+ HP, its not even a boss, i've noticed that a lot of classes are unbalanced in a underwhelming way on Synergies, worse yet is when you reach a area with more than 1 Champion and one of them is a Mage/Archer, EACH HIT deals more than 50% of your HP, coupled with a lot of mobs and maybe another Champion in the same area and its Hit Kill, not only that but the boss fire fast so you have to run or die, not even potion can save you because if you use one, and don't kill the Champion, he will kill you while the potion is on cooldown. You jump into the fray and get 1hit, or you use hit and run tactics, but even then, enemy archers/mages each HIT damages more than 15% of your HP, so you have to drink potion like you're drinking water, bosses? even Champions take a lot of time to kill. You can think of potions like the health orbs in Diablo 3. As long as you don't drink more potions than are dropped, you don't lose money. These charges can be spent to cast charge skills. The Emberblade can gain up to 4 charges by dealing damage or by being hit in combat. Torchlight 2 Outlander Builds Guide Recommended builds for Outlander in Torchlight 2 with tips on talent trees, stats and charging. The class offers 30 unique, hand-crafted skills and a custom charge bar mechanic. Mobs drop enough potions to allow you to play that way. The Emberblade is a complete, Synergies-compatible class that mixes melee with magic. I never go out without having at least 50 health potions and 50 mana potions. ![]() In general it's best to have a first playthrough without any mod - for the simple reason that while mods enhance contents (and some of them are really awesome), mods are not necessarily balanced and some parts of the game can become easier or harder, changing the way you are supposed to play the game like the devs intended to.Īnd about potions - you will drink potions in Torchlight 2. You should try out a vanilla melee class : Engineer or Berzerker. Paladin is in the middle of a rework that never was finished, and Ranger was the latest class added but i can't remember how survivable it is. These two are balanced and viable, without being OP. In Synergies the fleshed out classes are Warlock and Necromancer. ![]()
